Post #15: Brainstorming for my Website

As a graphic designer, I will be making a portfolio website displaying my best work and skills. I would like the website itself to be a display of the creative skills I have in web design. Areas I would like to focus would be in logo designs, motion graphics, video, and maybe photography.            My best work featured at the top.          Bold text of either my name or a short phrase that encompasses who I am.          I think a really well done animated logo design would really highlight who I am and what I can do which would show why I am worth working with.   My idea of navigation for my page would have the home tab as a feature page (my best motion graphic play upon arrival, as you scroll through the best testimonial, and so on), then if they wanted to explore more, have links for them to take them to specific theme pages L...

Affiliate marketing is best for bloggers, reviewers, or product recommendations from a small business. If a blogger does a review on a certain product or just wants to share about a product, they can retrieve an affiliate link to share with t...

I would recommend blogging because it ties in all aspects of online marketing. Free advertising, SEO, and consumer interaction are just some of the benefits of using a blog. A blog also gives the company authority on the subjects that are blogged about. Blogging is also scalable as a business grows and over time can improve and expand. Many businesses have turned blogs into published work. Blogs also complement today’s many different social media sites and allows one post to be shown across multiple platforms. I do see myself being a blogger in the future. I am not quite sure how I plan to implement a blog. Mainly because I don’t know on what topic to blog about since there are so many. Perhaps as my skill as a graphic designer increases, I might find interests in there to blog about but now I feel like my knowledge in other areas is more interesting in terms of a blog.
