Value of Being the Expert
You can summarize the purpose of content as educating individuals
and creating individual participation in a certain field. Before you can do
this, the content creator needs to have the expertise of the subject. Being the
expert on the content you create makes you an authority on the subject. People
will want to return to your information to learn or to participate. This makes
people trust you, which is a huge asset in marketing.
Content adds to marketing in many ways when utilizing social
media. If the content value extends beyond just an advertisement people will be
more likely to have a response. To take advantage of the response people have, use social media where people will “share” and “like” your content.
Future of My Online Presence
I hope to use this class to expand my writing skills. Using those exercised writing skills, I would like to begin writing more in a
professional manner. Either by having a blog of my own or writing articles for
other sites in my free time. I also hope to learn more about utilizing social
media and other online tools to boost my marketing capabilities. Online
marketing is really the main reason many graphic designers exist and if I can
learn and combine them, I can improve my worth to other businesses and clients.
